It’s happened again… Using an arbitrary linear time measurement system devised by a bunch of drunken monks, which is based on the procession of the Earth around the Sun due to the specific mass of the two bodies and angular velocities due to certain gravitational constants and the precession of the planet adjusting seasonal star visibility – I’m a year older.
Officially, for the next 365 days, I am the answer to every question. When one reaches the age of 42 there are certain responsibilities that come with the occasion – I hope I’m up to the task.
I was going to take today off from work as some sort of celebration – at least that was my excuse. In reality I spent the night at Aryntha and Rai’s place… It has snowed quite a bit up on Evergreen and they were kinda stuck, so I trundled up there in my Jeep to take them out to eat and once there offered to stay the night and make myself available to drive Rai into town this morning so she wouldn’t miss class. So I was going to be late anyways, and just decided to take the whole day off.
Fat chance.
